Prayer is a direct line of contact with God, it is an extraordinary resource that connects us to the Eternal. Wherever you are, whatever the time or situation, the resource of prayer will always be at your disposal.
Prayer must be directed to God and must be accompanied by faith. Through prayer we can receive wonderful benefits from God, because the Lord hears prayer and guarantees that a broken and contrite heart he will not despise
Among the many benefits of prayer is the comfort and comfort we receive from God in difficult times. Through prayer, God can even send angels to help us. The Lord Jesus, for example, was very distressed, knowing that the hour of his death was approaching. The Savior went to pray and during that prayer an angel came from heaven to comfort him (Luke 11:43).
Through prayer we can receive wisdom from God. Wisdom to solve problems, wisdom to make decisions and to face difficult situations. The apostle James said, “If any of you needs wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously and without reproach…” (James 1:5).
Prayer benefits us in times of big decisions, we cannot start a project without first praying and asking God for direction. We see the example of the Lord Jesus who, before choosing his 12 apostles, spent the whole night praying (Lc 6.12). Let us place all our dreams and projects before God in prayers.
By prayer we can have true peace. Scripture teaches us not to be worried; instead, we should pray: “Do not be anxious about anything; in everything, however, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Phil 4:6).
